The qualities I am most known for as a painter, are color and a primitive latin flavor.
This has earned me recognition in the registry of the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, Ca.

Since 1989, I return to my home in the Yucatan, spending time painting in my art studio there for several months a year, usually Jan - Mar, then returning to USA and exhibiting my work in Venice Beach, San Pedro and other locations. This has resulted in my work being in over 15 countries.

I have decorated Hollywood sets, shown in galleries and art festivals over the years.

Art is truly a passion and sharing it is a joy. I find a worthwhile purpose in bringing some beauty to this world. It feeds the heart.

Buying Property in Mexico-Legalities, taxes

My property has all the legal papers, known as a Fideocamiso with the bank, or trust. This is a legal procedure when a foreign person buys land in Mexico. The buyer sets this up with an attourney when the property is sold.
The yearly taxes have been about $13 USD a year and water is about $18 USD a year.

Affordable house for sale on beach with guest unit/rental

My house and guest house/rental are for sale. $155,000 USD.
Location is Celestun, Yucatan Mexico. It is beachfront property in a quiet fishing village.
The property is 9 meters wide by 35 meters deep. Directly on the beach, Gulf of Mexico. The water is clean and warm in the summer with no large surf. The climate is a bit warmer than California and not too humid. The town is friendly and safe. 52 miles to Merida, the capital of the Yucatan. There is transportation and the house is close enough to town to walk or bike.
The houses are on the same property and fenced (Cement block). The trees and flowers are fully grown and live off the rainfall mainly. Coconut trees, pine mainly. Flowers are hibiscus.
The larger house faces the beach and has new screens, good condition and is a large one room sharing dinning area with a tiled bar separating kitchen. The bathroom is tiled. It is @9 meters by 5 wide and a high ceiling with fan. There is electricity and water (also a cistern that holds water-large).
The guest/rental is also in good condition and is a bit smaller and very cozy with a bathroom and kitchen area as well as sleeping area.
